• Since this is a Smart TV which enables you to run apps on it (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) you don't need or want Roku. Roku essentially enables you to convert a TV that is not a Smart TV into a Smart TV. With a Roku box, the apps are installed on and play from the Roku box while on a Smart TV the apps are installed on and run from the TV itself. Adding Roku to a Smart TV just adds cost and 1 more thing to break. The only benefit to adding Roku to a Smart TV might be that the Roku 3 remote has a built in head phone jack which enables you to use ear buds or headphones but the same thing can be accomplished with the Smart TV with the addition of a converter (covered in another post here).
