The USA is on an 110v 60hz power standard, whereas most other countries use a 240v 50hz standard. A converter would be needed to power the TV in a country using the 240v system.
The USA uses the NTSC and ATSC broadcasting format. Most, but not all, countries use the PAL. TVs purchased in the USA are not compatible with the PAL broadcasting system without a converter.
The US standard frame rate is 30 frames per second (FPS), whereas the PAL standard is 25 FPS.

A company called Musou makes a quality one. Sadly, it seems the majority of new 4K tvs are ditching the headphone jack, necessitating a new peripheral to utilize the Toslink input.
A:AnswerI had same problem. I called and it has an auto setting on it. Just turn on a light in the room snd it will adjust or turn off the auto setting.
