No, I watched Netflix via the wifi connection. Synched right up with the TV, then hit smart hub. Netflix is right there and ready to go, just sign in.

I only had to upgrade my Netflix subscription and the 4k content showed up in the Netflix menu after that. 4k content is very limited at this time.

No, Netflix automatically identifies as Ultra HD and has a special list for Ultra HDTV.

Yes but so far mixed reviews - some people have said the picture looks lousy with the streaming 4K netflix movies but I have a feeling their connection speed may be the issue - I think you need a good solid 25Mbps up/down connection speed
