Love the graphics!! So far I've ran into minor issues with features, but nothing serious enough to not recommend this product to others. Pros: 1) Love the graphics! I have no complaints here at all! Movies and videogames are amazing on this set 2) Apps! A good number of apps to keep you entertained! I have access to my subscriptions on my tv. 3) Nice design. It's thin and easy to set up. Just plug and play really. I bought the wall stand, but lifting the TV onto the table stand for now was easy for me. I can't review setting it up the wall yet since I have yet to do that. Cons: Screen Mirror. It sucks. Badly. Which is why the review lost one star. While this is a big problem for me since I like to use xfinity to go on my screen (since xfinity doesn't have an actual working app yet), I was told to try Google chrome as a fix. Still this is an issue Samsung should address. When I try to connect to screen mirroring (using windows 8 surface) it works! Sometimes takes a while but most times its smooth. The problem? Disconnection. All. The. Time. I can't watch an episode fully without have to reconnect. 2) HORRIBLE tech support. Seriously youtube will be your best friend. I was on for hours with tech trying to help me with screen mirroring. In the end I searched and found a YouTube video. I ended the chat with the guy since I figured it out because of that video. The worst example would be my second call to tech support. I just wanted to know if I could resize screens on M. screen feature. The guy told me my TV doesn't have a multi screen feature!!! Lol!! I asked him what does M. screen on the remote mean then? He said, "multi screen". I then replied, "then I do have multi screen". He continued to take 1 hr and a 1/2 to check his "sources" to see if there was a way to resize screens. There is no way to do it apparently. The funny thing about this situation is that you give them you serial or model number so they know you have Warrenty and they know what product you have. How could they not know what their own models features are? Really sad support. :/ 3) Samsung smart. Horrible software and app. The iPhone app doesn't work. The PC software isnt user friendly. I just wanted to play music on my tv while studying but it's a fight I can't win. You can't just add folders seperately as they are on your computer and sometimes (a few times) it disconnected. Over all, the features are horrible. Samsung has horrible tech support so be prepared. The TV itself has a beautiful picture and it does have working apps on it. Maybe buy a Google chrome for the screen mirroring and this TV is a charm.

I read several other reviews claiming this set did not display good true UltraHD color. False info from those who do not work with the settings properly. Then I saw one post that went into setup for great performance. I used that, made a personal tweak here and there, and all is spectacular. BluRay up-rez is amazing, Netflix and cable HD are far sharper and richer than our 40"Samsung HD set (moved that one to the guest room.) BE SURE to use the highest quality HDMI cable for this set! I bought the Monster Cable ULTRA-HD GOLD, works great. Here are the settings: Picture Mode: Dynamic Backlight: 20 Contrast: 90 Brightness: 48 Sharpness: 16 Color: 42 Color Tone: Cool Digital Clean View: Low MPEG Noise Filter: Low Auto Motion Plus: Off Under Advanced Settings: Dynamic Contrast: Medium Black tone: Dark Color Space: Native NOTE: If you read some guy stating that this is not true 4K, ignore him. It is UltraHD as are all "4K" tvs. The confusion arises from the fact that in motion picture formats 4K refers to 4096 horizontal pixels, but UltrHD TV is 3840 horizontal. Sony and others were reluctant to call UltraHD by the term "4K" because they know this is technically inaccurate and they actually make true cinema 4K systems for filming and theaters. However, 4K has become the common name for ultra high definition television (UHDTV), although its resolution is "only" 3840 x 2160 (at a 16:9, or 1.78:1 aspect ratio), which is lower than the 4K film industry standard of 4096 x 2160 (at a 19:10 or 1.9:1 aspect ratio). By the way, UHDTV 3840 x 2160 is double the horizontal and vertical resolution of HD 1920 x 1080, which equals 4X the total pixels, a huge increase in detail and crisp text and graphics. The upres hardware engine in this UltraHD Samsung set gets stunning detail out of HD BluRay and broadcast, as well as my Chromecast HBO GO and Netflix. I now sit closer to the set for a more theater-like experience. Later when more UHDTV shows are available and UHDTV discs/players start to appear, I will be even happier, but this tv is already well worth the $900.

Bought this TV to replace my old Sony tube TV. The picture is excellent and the DLNA feature also works great. It’s taken a little time to get used to the remote since it’s not the typical type that has all the “numbers” on it. You have to either speak into the remote (which works pretty cool) by saying the number “5” or NBC. There a lots of connections on the back and it was very easy to set up. I recommend this TV for anyone that wants the entry level to 4K and doesn’t want to pay extra for the 3D option which doesn’t come with this model.

With the holiday pricing now in effect, I got this TV for $300 off Best Buy's normal price. I am using this a computer monitor and the difference from using a 40" Westinghouse 1080p LCD is incredible.

The picture quality is unbelievably crisp and clear, thanks to the increased resolution added by the 4K technology. The Smart TV features are great and I am still exploring the many additional features including the sound command controls. The remote device is packed with many features but the small size takes a little getting use to when first used. Its good to know that I can upgrade when technology changes with the times. Good sound, even without a sound bar. Smart function is easy to use. Best Buy offered a very competitive price for this full featured HDTV. It was definitely a great buy!

I have a samsung 1080p 61" tv in my living room and this tv blows it out of the water. Hd channels look fake they are so crisp. When I watch 4k videos from my DJI inspire drone on the tv, it looks better than the actual flight. I would recommend this to anyone. I love samsung tv's.

I absolutely love the picture! The remote is cool but at night good luck finding the correct button to push for volume etc. The only other negative thing I will say would be if you like to use the sleep function there is not a button on the remote so you have to go through the menu or set the on and off timer. Other than that it is a great TV.

Bought this for my apartment. Great details and picture quality. It was extremely bright out of the box but I did find some calibration details online which took a few days to get used to. Streaming 4K is only from Amazon prime right now but it is INCREDIBLE. All I need now is a great sound system or sound bar to go with it.

Very pleased with this tv. I love the picture quality, as well as the smart tv features. Makes it very convenient to switch from cable to Netflix. The only thing I don't love about the tv is the remote it comes with. I find that buttons are very easily accidentally pressed, and I wish it had some kind of glow in the dark feature, because you literally can't see anything in the dark.

This TV has a fantastic picture. It's extremely sharp and the color is fantastic. Not only that, the instructions for setup made it very easy to get it going. We had to call customer service for a setup code, and the rep we spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this TV.

Had Geek Squad install with a Sony Wi Fi Blue Ray player in my office at home and they did a great job and the picture is amazing. Replaced a 32" Sony Bravia which was also a great TV.

I have always liked samsung and this TV is just another example. The 4k up conversation is awesome, excellent picture quality and the Internet apps complete the TV. This sound from this TV is incredible no need for a soundbar maybe only for more bass but the sound is impressive.

The picture on this television is amazing, 4K holds up to its reputation and makes even 1080p look better. The DirecTV built-in feature was very easy to setup (since the previous TV was being used in a similar way, otherwise you need additional hardware from DIrecTV). Sound is also decent for a flat panel and better than most. The only downside is the remote can be a bit of a challenge at times. While the point and click Wii-mote like ability is interesting the lack of some other buttons (like the numbers buttons having to come up as a pad on the screen) is a bit annoying.

We needed to replace a failing Sharp 37" 720P fluorescent LCD TV that cost $3.5K in it's day and barely fit in the armoir. It With a much narrower bezel, this Samsung TV also fit, even though it is 3" bigger at 40" diagonal. It cost under $400 (open box), weighs less, and uses far less power. 4K resolution is superb! We subscribed to NetFlix just to see it. We can hardly wait for 4K blueray.

My 50+ husband bought this TV to replace an old CRT set. Picture is nice. Not sure it was worth the upgrade in price for the UHD in a 40" size. However, he can't deal with the remote. I think it is probably more intuitive for a younger person, but he could not deal with scrolling through menus to just to change the channel and he ordered an old-style remote from Samsung.

We moved from a 32 inch TV to a 40 inch, and the Sony was a great choice. The HD image is clear and sharp, and yet it seems to be very easy on the eyes. With our previous TV, we got eye strain after an hour of so, but this Sony seems to adjust to the brightness of the room and reduce glare. I just wish our cable company would broadcast its signal in 1080p instead of the old 720p.

This is the most fun tv ever! Hubby really wanted one and I didn't see the point but it is great! The picture quality is unbelievable. The whole thing is easy to use and as I said so much fun! Wish we had bought another for the family room.
