Yes! If you have a TV that’s capable (I have a Samsung), you can play it directly from your TV. I haven’t owned any new Sony TVs recently, but in the past they didn’t allow it so something to consider. Of course you can always watch a movie on a laptop via usb. You might need to download a program like VLC media player (free) if it’s in an unsupported format though.
