I am pleased with my purchase of the Samsung 40” Smart TV. Connecting it to the DVR, DVD and home network was easier than I thought it would be. I was able to customize the apps and inputs without difficulty. It was not always intuitive but trial and error got the job done. Hanging it on the wall was a bit of an adventure, but it worked out. I was able to recycle the wall bracket from my old TV. The aggravation was that although the bracket fit the holes on back of the Samsung, the size of the screws was different from my old set. And I couldn’t find specifications as to what size screw would be needed. To attach my hanging brackets on the back of the set, I used 8MM x 1.25 x 20mm Machine Screws The screws made a tight fit securing the bracket into place with no play. I was careful to make the fit secure but not to over-tighten. And verified that the TV assembly was securely in the proper position on the wall bracket before letting go. My TV is now hung securely and safely on the wall of my cave. WARNING: If you are not totally comfortable with hanging the TV from the wall, please consider professional installation for safety of both the TV and you! Paying a few bucks is preferable to straining muscles or dropping your investment. Please be safe. The TV uses WiFi or Ethernet cable to connect to network. I used WiFi because it seemed easier. But occasionally, I had trouble getting Apps to connect when streaming. I thought that perhaps my sometimes intermittent WiFi may be at fault. So I fish-taped an Ethernet cable though the wall to the TV. I haven’t had a problem with Apps or streaming in three weeks.

Good size for office or bedroom. 40" is large enough to watch action films without dominating a smaller room. Grain on some older HD films is lessened compared to 4K. However, some very small details not as good as 4K. But build quality of these older HD TVs is better than some of the newer ultrathin sets. We have another older Samsung that has been reliable for six years.

It’s good for the price. The picture is good. Sound is good. Works a little slow sometimes when moving around on the remote and other times it works fine. That might be due to WiFi connection. Has many apps to download. Overall I’m content with the tv for the price.

I bought my first time Samsung 40" smart tv 3 weeks ago replacing my 3yr old 32" "non-smart" tv that died. So far, it's a really great change comparatively, however, there's still a Lot of things it has available which I haven't figured out yet. Most probably because it's a lot "smarter" than me. The picture is such a huge difference in quality and size, it makes movies and even local shows feel like I'm at the theater! I'm looking forward to learning more about all the features. My 12&13 yr old niece & nephew could figure it out in a very short time. Too bad they live 80 miles away, lol. Anyway, I'm very glad I chose this tv, perfect size, great features, awesome visual.

Love this TV. I bought it for my garage. I was using an old flat screen without built in streaming capabilities. I was tired of having to cast from my phone through chrome cast, so I picked this up and was not disappointed. Crazy to think this tv cost less than my old 32” 720 flat screen I had in the garage beforehand. Picture is great! Remote is has a lot more buttons than I prefer (higher end models have a simpler remote that’s a little more intuitive), however my parents prefer a tv with every button possible- so not a knock at all. It’s only my personal preference

Samsung 40" Class 5 Series LED Tizen TV Has A Exceptional Picture. All features of the tv are easy to access with the simple remote. I could not ask for a better quality picture for my tv. Making adjustments to picture, wi-fi, sound are also very simple. I love everything about this TV. I highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a great quality tv.

This TV has a beautiful picture and great quality for price. Easy setup and menu navigation. Only problem I have is that Alexa devices are a little buggy with it and will not connect correctly. Other than that it is a great value for $200 and cannot be beat. Samsung is by far the best TV brand money can buy.

Great TV for a great price. The picture is amazing. I’m waiting for it to go on sale again so I can purchase another one for my bedroom. I did purchase a universal center stand though. Those dumb little chicken feet wouldn’t fit on the entertainment center.

This Samsung TV we purchased is so far so good. We think we've made good choice to select this one in terms of size, picture quality, and price.

This tv was a surprise gift for my husband for Christmas. He was very surprised and overjoyed because he was watching the games in another room on a little monitor, if you can believe it. He was complaining about his eyes burning. So I decided to buy this for him, he has been enjoying this tv every since. Looks like it was a good and bad deal. Good because he loves it and bad because now I never see him. Lol it’s all good. The Geek Squad came promptly on time, wore their masks, and quietly and with precision mounted the tv in place and was finished No fuss, no mess. Nicely done. Thank you.

This was the perfect size for my work out wall. Smart tv that replaced a very old tv with Roku. Great picture, great price!

Easy to set up. User friendly screen icons. The remote is a bit small to avoid fat finger when entering text on screen. Tweaked the sound and picture.....wow, it has awesome picture and very good sound from built in speakers. Overall, very pleased with this Samsung TV.

Huge fan of Samsung TVs… this is my second - I use it for watching games on the patio. Perfect size, great price point, and great picture. Setup was a snap. Looking forward to many years of use!!!

Exactly what I wanted … the size I got was perfect…because I had only a certain sized area that it had to fit in!! Great quality and also was so easy to set up!

Got this tv at the great price of $150 right before Christmas. I really like the crispness of the picture as well as how clear the sound is. Perfect size for my bedroom. Has free tvplus and constant vevo videos!! The fact that I don't need to use the hdmi port is a plus. I also like how I can control it from my phone. My only complaint is the lag between the remote and the tv as well as the remote having to be pointed directly at the tv to register. Other than that, I love my new tv!!

I use this TV to watch Netflix, Hulu, and Cable. I also play my Xbox on this. This is perfect! Not to big or small. Easy to install and use. Great TV and great price!!!

Great picture quality and a great price. It is very thin an has almost an invisible bezel so it looks good on or off. HDMI e-arc output works great with my Sonos Arc. I love it so far.

Purchased this tv for Christmas for my moms small living room. Mounted it on the wall and it looks great. She uses it everyday and hasn’t had a complaint of any. She loves the picture quality and mind you that she’s using a digital antenna and not any cable service so I’d say this was a good buy.
