The legs were not attached when we unboxed our tv. We used the VESA pattern on the back of the tv to mount the tv to the wall. I recommend you look at the VESA pattern of the post you are want to use with the tv and then make sure that VESA pattern works with the tv you want to purchase. You can find the VESA pattern info under Specifications or Product Details on Best Buy.
