“NO closed captions on this TV? Does this mean all programs watched will not be able to access closed captions on this TV. I have comcast. And need to access closed captions. Thanks.”

from info I have, it points to "Accessibility Functions" and the "Voice Guide." this area allows chages of volume, speed, pitch. Within this section set Caption to "on" & there are 2 modes : Caption Mode Default/CC1-CC4/Text1-Text4 (analog channels only)...Digital Caption Options: you can change size, font, font style, colors and position for sets 2018 & later.
