What the difference in length between 43" and 40" tv null

The overall width of this model is 36''. It is unclear what other model number you are talking about.

Not much, about 2 inches, we had a 43 in that had troubles so we returned it for a 40 that works wonderfully, I could hardly tell the difference.

The picture size of 40 or 43” is measured diagonally! The size of the frame around the screen will affect the overall dimensions!
