A:AnswerIt depends on your clearance space. The plug sticks out 1" from the wall. The cord does run out the side. So it should fit most wall mount situations, but depends on your exact situation.

A:AnswerNo sure about Dish, but we have AT&T Uverse and I have programmed my Uverse remote to perform many of the functions that I used before I bought our Samsung TU8000 TV. I am still working on a few functions on the Uverse remote but it does mot of the regular functions. The Samsung remote just isn't that friendly in my opinion.
