• The major difference is the jump from LED to QLED (Samsung's name for OLED) Standard flat screen TV's have large light sources shining out from behind the LED screen to light up the screen. But they light up the entire screen at all times. So areas that should be dark are never really very dark. QLED/OLED change the light source so that they don't illuminate the entire screen at all times. For most people this won't be a noticeable difference. But if you like to watch TV/movies in the dark, the difference becomes much more obvious.

• IGNORE THE ANSWER SAYING THAT THIS QLED IS SAMSUNGS NAME FOR OLED!! QLED is just a glorified LCD . OLED is different and better. Not saying that this is bad, because it’s not. QLED looks nice, but it’s not OLED! BIG DIFFERENCE! GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND! Geez!
