“The picture color is great as long as you are directly seated in front of it, but if you are off to the sides of it the picture loses its vibrance and color. Is there any way to make this better?”

sadinmo - You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image. ^Gina
