the 5.6 has a 30" wide base, this has a 27" base. If i look at the images side by side, there appears to be less room on the edges for the 5.0.

based on the above math, the largest difference would be 3" but i suspect less than that

It's maybe a very small amount smaller, but I tried them both and they're comparable. The biggest difference between those two is the overall width of the machine.

The openings are the same, Samsung uses a common opening and seal across all of their front-load models

The door opening is 25".
