Hello LC, The HW-Q800B Soundbar can connect using HDMI (eARC), Digital Optical, and Bluetooth. If your TV has one of these inputs then you're going to be all set. ~Samsung Solutions

As long as your LG has HDMI and/or digital audio outputs, it should work fine. I have the LG C2 OLED, and it connected with my tv without any issues. But I can’t be certain about the ease of connection with an older series.
