“I have a Samsung Curved Crystal UHD 8 series/TU8300 TV. With 3 HDMI Ports. My question is that I am using all 3 ports at the moment. Cable box, DVD player, and Chromecast. Will I have to do away with one of these to hook up the Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar”

Without adding additional equipment (receiver, HDMI switcher, etc) you can take one of the input devices you listed and attach it to the HDMI input on the Samsung HW-Q60T. You'll then want to hook the TV HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel which allows the TV to push audio to the soundbar but will also allow video to passthrough from the soundbar to the TV) to the Samsung soundbar HDMI ARC port.

This will allow you to connect one of the HDMI devices direct to the soundbar, then connect the soundbar to the now available HDMI ARC port to take advantage of all your existing devices. ^Tim
