“I have this washing machine a little under 3 years. I started to have problems with it last year with leaving brown spots on my clothes. I have used vinegar and baking soda through several washings. It is ruining my clothes. What can I do to fix this?”

Please try again later.Check around of the bleach dispenser and underneath the top cover, if you can; the brown spots might be produced by rust dust falling off from the top cover. If this is the case, the top cover needs to be replaced. If you have a warranty or SVC Plan, the warranty company may argue that this is a cosmetic issue and it is not cover; however you claim that this is a functionality issue because it is damaging the clothes and therefore it should be covered.
