Not even close. My usual seems to be 425 for most things and that takes about as long as it takes me to smoke a cigarette. I can turn it on, smoke and it's ready by the time I've got the food on the pan and ready to go. I'd guess maybe 8 minutes. 10 minutes at the absolute most, but way less than 27 minutes on the reviews. I read those reviews as well before I purchased mine, but bought it anyway. I'm very glad I did. There isn't anything bad about this oven with exception of the typical concern of a flat top stove being more prone to scratching, but that's not really been an issue for me so far either with the black color.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no way, it takes 10 minutes and you see it go up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This oven takes less than 10 minutes to reach that temperature. It also has a pretty cool feature, as it shows you the actual temperature at the moment, and you can watch as the temperature inreases until it reaches the desired setting

Samsung does not have preheat times available for the ranges since the amount of time it takes to preheat can vary depending on factors such as the difference between the starting and set temperatures. If faster preheating is important to you, you may want to consider Samsung's new FE710 Flex Duo Range which can convert from a spacious 5.9 cubic foot single oven, similar to the FE-R300, to a double oven with the addition of an included divider that can conveniently be stored away when not in use. The smaller divided cavities would likely have much speedier preheat times, saving both time and energy. - Ms. Samsung
