Hi 4ken! To take full advantage of the TV and all of its smart features you will need to have an internet connection from a modem or router. The TV provides a wide range of content when connected to the internet through the built in streaming applications. There are a wide variety of accessories to go with the TV that are dependent on your usage such as cables, surge protectors, mounts, or additional ways to access content such as antennas or Blu Ray players.
