“Looks like the 43" version is the maximum size to fit our built-in. It will sit on top of the cable box (2.5"Hx12.5"L) sitting on top of DVD/VCR player (3.5"Hx17"L). I don't think the stand will work with that set-up. Any other options for a stand?”

Hi TominStowe, the height of the 43" Q60T is 24.8" with the stand, and the height of the 50" Q60T is 28.4" with the stand. If these measurements don't work with your setup, please know that Samsung TVs are VESA Compliant, and will work with any wall mount or stand that is also VESA Compliant and designed for the TV's size. A 43" TV needs a bolt pattern of 200 mm x 200 mm, and a 50" TV will need a bolt pattern of 400 mm x 400 mm.
