• All I can say is if your using the optics cable make sure it's locked in. If your not using optics then try and change the source

• Our Samsung TV remote has a button on the side of it that our hand accidentally presses occasionally. This mutes the TV (and the sound bar). Hitting the mute button on the sound bar remote doesn't help this. Only re-pressing the button on the side of the TV remote will bring the sound back on.
