SD sources should all look good. Of course when you compare them to 1080p and especially 4K sources, they will appear worse than you remember. If you're watching a lot of content through a Blu-ray player, you may want to get one that upscales to 4K, then set the player to upscale all content to match the TV's native 4K resolution. Check whether you get better results from the player's upscale engine or the TV's. Sony has very good upscaling.

Comcast is going to look fuzzy in some cases, as well as DirecTV or Dish Network. They use a 1080i/720 resolution. While some of their boxes will upscale this to 1080p it will lose resolution dcuring the upscale, hence the blurriness.
