“Is there a way to set (55tu7000) this tv up where the built in smart options dont come up .just goes straight to cable? my elderly mother keeps getting "lost" because she is impatient and wont let it go away on its on. Thanks Don”

Yes if you turn turn off the auto smart guide. It's in settings
