“Is there any need for or capacity for periodic calibration for this TV? Also, there some reports of isolated burn-in of network logos. Other than changing channels is there a good way to avoid this?”

I haven’t had mine very long. I haven’t had the need to change anything. I haven’t seen any burn in yet.
