If I'm looking at the right Sony soundbar at Best Buy (model HTS200F), the width is 23 inches and the depth is 3.8 inches. So it seems it would fit in the TV stand width (37.5 inches) and depth (9.9 inches). The Sony I found has an optical input, which would match this TV's optical output. But it has no HDMI input. So you wouldn't be able to use the TV's eARC HDMI output, which as I understand allows enhanced audio and lets you control the soundbar with the TV remote. I have the same situation with my external speakers. It's not a big deal for me. But it's something to consider.
