• It does but you can turn it off.

• Hi Tom, If you find this is an issue when watching then you can turn this function on or off. To turn off press the Home button to access the TV Menu. Here is where you can do that from the main menu: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings. ^Jeremy
