“What can you tell me about glare? Our living room has a lot of very bright windows. I'm concerned that the glossy screen on this TV will create too much glare. Is that true? PS, I can't seem to find a matte screen on any 2012 Samsung LED's.”

I had the same concern. However, I did not experience the glare I was afraid of. We positioned the TV is a corner of the room above the fireplace. We attached it to the wall and tilted it forward. No glare. I'm very pleased with it. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although the UN55ES6100 will offer a glossy panel, the panel itself will offer some anti-reflective properties. However, none of the "ES" series Samsung TVs will offer a semi-gloss or matte finish. -MrSamsung
