do I need a sound bar or is the sound included? null

The sound on the tv is decent... It's not top of the line, but it certainly works fine for basic/everyday needs. If you're looking for optimal sound quality, you'll probably want a sound system of some sort.

No sound bar is needed, the sound just with the tv itself is surprisingly good

Sound is included, but is more then ample for me and I can be a little hard of hearing.

Well the TV obviously has sound, and it's not terrible. But if you add a sound bar you'll get more power as well as the surround sound and bass. Since the TV is curved you can get a curved sound bar or just put a straight one underneath it.
