“Can you switch the base on this TV? I have a fireplace mantle that's only 8" deep and this seems significantly deeper with the manufacturer feet on it. Can you install a center base like 2017 model?”

Hello Dreidel, when setting my TV up, I did not notice any other locations to change the base, or any locations that would look suitable. However, the legs themselves may be slightly longer than 8", but they are curved inward, so you should have space on your mantle for the TV. If not, the TV does have the ability to be mounted, and not to knock the "Rocketfish Full Motion Mount" but there are some wonderful alternatives available through Amazon for roughly 1/4 to half the cost of the Rocketfish, that work as well as or better than it.
