The Q, Quantum is an LED which has a lot more pixels then a normal LED whereas the O is an Orgic screen. There is a lot of give and takes however if you truly want the highest true color to be viewed at any angle go with the O. If you want a near same image at a lower price point go with the Q. IF YOU have a habit of leaving your TV paused or watch a channel which has their logo in the corner of the screen DO NOT GET the O because of it being an Organic screen you will get a "burned" in image that will not go away and then you will have wasted spending the extra bucks on a TV which to most viewers is about the same quality...BTW, this is my best guess based on seeing both on display and reading up on them before buying one.
