I have just done that same upgrade. While I didn’t specifically think about the quality of skin tones it hasn’t bothered me. In response to this question I quickly turned on the tv and looked at several channels. Realizing there is a range of skin tones even within the races I found variation between individuels to be realistic. The problem is that it is too realistic! With the improvements in technology all of these beautiful faces suddenly have more blemishes and wrinkles than before. But specifically there is a wide range of skin tones for blacks, whites, Asians, Latinos, and others.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will get natural flesh tones. You can also alter the color by selecting a color tone (cool, standard, warm 1, warm 2). Also, there's an option to adjust the intensity of color ( it's called 'Color' and it ranges from 1 to 50). Note that having the color ramped all the way up can cause some colors to be too saturated, thus causing orangey or pinky flesh tones.) I set mine at color tone Warm 1 and Color set at 40.
