The internal cooling fan, which helps keep the electronics cool, and the convection fan, which is visible at the back of the oven and circulates heated air for more thorough cooking. The convection fan turns on and off at regular intervals and has a quiet, low humming noise. Some models have more than one convection fan. ^Jecca
A:AnswerIts a convection oven which uses the fan to evenly circulate the hot air in the oven. The fan runs when off to help dissipate the hot air as well. If you don't want the fan to run use the regular bake option not the convection bake.
