This range has 58,000btu with all 5 burners on. You would need 690 minimum but higher cfm is better. Also look for a hood vent adapter that is 8in diameter preferably over 6inch for best extraction. The cfm should also match your kitchen size and there are recommended calculations available on the internet . Please be aware this range has only wifi connectivity not bluetooth so you cannot connect it to the hood vent unless it has wifi also. Ensure your hood vent has heat sensors to automatically turn on. Otherwise you will have to manually turn on the vent system each time you begin cooking. For this gas range, minimum space above range top needs to be 30 inch to max 36inch from bottom of hood. However, check company specs on the chosen microwave vent hood being purchased.
