There are 2 different settings convection seems for for baking air fryer Dems more for frying crispy. Just my opinions

You can also use less oil than normal methods (or no oil at all), which makes it a healthier alternative to regular deep frying. The convection baking uses a fan to circulate the oven’s heat evenly and continuously within the oven. This improved heat distribution allows for a more even cooking.
