We have an Onkyo 7.1 connected to a Samsung 3-d TV. The sound is great, but the Samsung has no picture. Our 1st Onkyo was a 6.1 and did a great job as well. We used HD HDMI pass through from the signal source and optic cable from the TV out to the Onkyo optic in for air channels. This is our last Samsung TV as it has component issues Samsung will not address. Research the specific 5.1 Onkyo you plan to purchase as some models have subwoofer issues (will not turn on).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as it have a HDMI out, yes you can, but all the sources should directly go to the Home theater and one HDMI out should go to the TV. There are only RCA left/Right audio out from this TV.
