• The fiber-optic cable is what connects the one-connect box to the TV. You will still use HDMI cables to connect your devices (cable box, etc.). With this TV, you don't want to use low-quality HDMI cables - be sure to get high-speed cables!

• Your HDMI cable goes from the cable box to the One Connect box and the optical cable plugs into the TV from the box. In fact, anything that you want to connect to the TV goes into the box and the optical cable handles all of the signals.
