• According to the manual it is wall mountable. I used the stand included with the TV. As for the 2nd question, this is a very good, current TV. With so many terms - SUHD, HDR, LED, OLED, etc, "best type" is a personal question. It is a very good mid-price tv, not a cheap one, and not a $3,000 one either. Good luck.
