The 6290 (5400401) is a 2015 model with a standard remote, NO bluetooth, an older version of the quad core processor. The 6300 (5191800) is a 2016 model with a SMART remote, bluetooth and new version of the quad core processor. Samsung makes at 3 similar versions of this TV (based on age) and are sold as "exclusives" or "only at" stores, such as Best Buy. Otherwise nothing is really different about the two TVs other than the cost and whether or not you need or want the latest and greatest. We opted for the newest because at the time it was selling for the same price as the older model during the PRE-Black Friday sales. Spend the extra 100 bucks.
