Ultra high Def and super ultra high Def they are both 4k. Suhd has a new technology called quantum dot and it handles contrast better by dimming the led lights to make the dark darker which in turn makes the colors stand out and create a better picture. Suhd also produces more colors than uhd but I must say you would be satisfied with uhd but if you can afford it go for the suhd

UHD are Samsung's conventional lcd-led 4K television's. SUHD are their quantum dot 4K TVs which have much better contrast and color reproduction. Samsung's SUHD TV's are 10 bit panels enabling High Dynamic Range. Quantum dot, 10 bit , HDR technology is only outdone by the very expensive OLED technology
