I play PlayStation 3 on this tv. It shows a great picture. It shows in 1080p I this that's the max output for older systems.

Hi there, 1280 X 720 is the first generation of High Defenition and shared the 16x9 aspect ratio we currently use. The Samsung 7 Series will certainly support this resolution. ^Scott
