• Aftermarket remote units, even the top end units may not have programming functions that may control certain obscure proprietary functions of certain TVs. For complete compatibility, you may need to get the proper factory remote that came with your set

• Olwed, the remote for this model works through bluetooth for signal. Most universal remotes us an IR blaster. ^Heath
