Our living room is all sliding glass doors, and faces a covered porch in Florida. Our current TV is back lit, whereas UN65MU8000FXZ is edge lit (I think, it's fairly hard to be certain). Curtains are not an option . Thanks for any input you can offer! null

I have the same set up! Our living room is very big and open, however I am pleasantly surprised with picture quality of this M8000 series. It is very bright and we did not face any issue.
