“I see this tv says "Motion Rate 120", now is that TRUE 120Hz, or some software aided 120? I bought an LG that was "120Hz" but wasn't true 120, it was software based, whatever that means... I do NOT want to be mislead again!”

• All TV manufacturers advertise the software interpolation, not the native refresh rate which is why you never see Hz listed behind the number. Samsung's is easy to understand, just divide the number in half. Motion Rate 120 is 60Hz, so to get a 120Hz TV you would need the Samsung nu8000 or better which is advertised as Motion Rate 240.

• No this is not 120... it’s 60 and they hide it by saying “true motion 120”. Cheap marketing ploy...
