Q: Do you know how many AMPs the 65 inch Samsung TV pulls.
A: I believe it’s under 2 amps The TV consume max of 180 W and the voltage is 110.
A: Samsung's Motion Rate 120 is software, which can be turned off. In expert picture settings you'd select Auto Motion + and change that from Auto to off or Custom to tweak the motion to your liking. It should be noted, however, that Motion Rate is software interpolation and is not the native Refresh rate. Motion Rate 120 is 60Hz Refresh, to get 120Hz you'd need to go with the nu8000 or better which is Motion Rate 240, or 120Hz Refresh.
A: The TVs require the spacers to provide a flat surface to mount the TV brackets to. The screws you need are metric M8-45mm with a thread pitch of 1.25. Home Depot has 50mm lenght which are too long but 3 flat washers are enough to take up the extra length. I installed three of these TVs today with those bolts.
Q: What's the dimensions on this t.v. ?
A: The dimensions of the product are as follows: 57.4" x 33" x 2.4".
A: It has a Motion Rate 120, which is software, or a native Refresh Rate of 60Hz.
A: All TV manufacturers advertise the software interpolation, not the native refresh rate which is why you never see Hz listed behind the number. Samsung's is easy to understand, just divide the number in half. Motion Rate 120 is 60Hz, so to get a 120Hz TV you would need the Samsung nu8000 or better which is advertised as Motion Rate 240.
Q: do you have to have or need a soundbar system for this tv
A: No, my opinion is that you do not need a sound bar for this tv. I am in no way an audiophile and some people are more picky than I am, but I think the speakers on this tv are great. After switching the audio to amplify I think it sounds very nice. I haven't watched a movie on this tv yet to really test the speakers but they have a lot of volume to them. My old tv had such terrible, weak speakers that we were forced to buy a sound bar just to enjoy tv. I own a sound bar and honestly I'm happy with either the tv sound or the sound bar sound.
