“Hello, i bought this model about a week ago. When i power on, the DirecTv box turns on and so does the TV. The TV immediately turns on and then the screen goes black for 10-12 seconds and then the channel comes up. Is this normal for this TV? Thanks.”

Your TV turns when your DirectTV on because the Anynet+ was on. If you don’t like it then turn it off in settings
