Yes there is a lot of differences. Old model did not feature freeesync which is great for games if you play Xbox as they use amd. Also has about 100 light nits less. All of the 2017 models are garbage. 18 besides the q8 or q9 suck. I have a 65nu8000 and the specs listed to what you get is not even close. User interface is even bigger pain. Has decent speakers tho
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My 65" NU8000 I got at Best Buy 3 weeks ago installed by Geek Squad along with Sound Bar and Blue Ray player. The stand is a large T shape below in front of screen attached to a pedestal behind the screen. My NU cost $1,399.00. I can't compare sound quality because my TV sound is boosted by the sound bar.
