• Hi Dan, I'm not sure what you're referring to with regard to a "vertical vent problem." If you need to vent the DV48H7400EW, like many other Dryers, a significant distance vertically, a booster fan can likely be added to ensure the air can be exhausted effectively. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
