You can use the dryer without the steam line hooked up. When I had mine, I purchased a splitter and hooked it up that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the dryer will work fine without the water line hooked up but its easy to hook up and gives your dryer more potential.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When I bought this dryer and they came to install it I was worried about using the steam feature. The installer told me he didn't have to hook it up if I didn't want it but in the end I said go ahead and it was installed. There is a steam button when you want to use it. So far I have not even used it even though it is hooked up for steam so I'm sure you can still use the dryer without any problem as long as you don't hit the steam button. Again, I don't use the steam feature even though it is hooked up but it's there if I ever decide to use it.
