Bought this dryer and it appeared to work ok. We find that it shuts off prematurely. The timer says 42 minutes and it shuts off in 2 minutes. Clothes still damp. Instructions call for a water connection? Didn’t get that hose and Y connector. help! null

I think you are reading the instructions wrong. It doesn’t have a steam option. Not sure y it’s shutting off early prob needs a new main board call company

If you only have a few items in the dryer it will switch off. I have to switch to Timed-Dry so this doesn't happen.
