I'm so glad you asked! This dryer is able to stack on top of a compatible washer using the stacking kit model SKK-8K. Any washers that are compatible with this stacking kit can be stacked with this dryer. If you would like to leave another question with the model number of the washer you have, I would be happy to look it up and check if it is also compatible. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can stack on the top any dryer no matter how old is the washer. At least you use the same brand in both. It won’t be any problems if u stack a new 2021 dryer on top of your old 2016. They recommend the same brand in both appliances…
