The superdry is a quick dry cycle for efficiency. This unit does have a steam santize feature. And it need water for the steam features. The unit comes with a brass 'Y' connector to split the cold water line with the washer, but you will need an extra water line to install because its not included (and to reach the dryer the line will need to be longer than your current water lines).
